Have you noticed how we get our style inspiration fix has changed over the last decade? In days gone by we only had the models on magazine pages staring back at us, with usually not much variation in age or cultural diversity. With the rise of social media & bloggers as the way we get our ‘fix’, street style has become as important if not more than fashion mags of old!
When fashion weeks happen across the globe you see a bunch more on socials of the outfits worn by guests strutting the streets arriving to the the shows than what is actually strutted down the catwalk. Of course who’s sitting front row is still strategically placed fashion fodder, but the street is now where it’s at.
I have some stand out fav’s that I follow on instagram religiously, and just adore seeing them in the real world in fantastically styled ensembles that really do inspire me in the day to day art of dressing.
