I’ve always thought of the change of season like taking a shower and washing away the day. Shedding your looks from the last season and getting into a new freshened fashion mindset is liberating. Conceptualising the trends on yourself that will dominate the global fashion market for the coming months is as much cathartic as it is fun! Whilst personally I prefer the warmer Spring and Summer months, the idea of investing in new outerwear and whatever else takes my whimsy, makes it all feel worthwhile to put up with the chill ahead! We have to look cool and be snug right?

FRILL SEEKER

Frills are back with a vengeance. NYFW and Paris have all ruffled out the frill and it’s already taken to the streets. Frilly dresses & big frilly sleeves, frilled jumpers - however you choose to embrace this trend it’s one to try. So flattering in any silhouette and perfect for any occasion.

PRETTY IN PINK- EVEN TACKY PINK RULES

Whether its a colour you love or hate, pink is back with a ‘Barbielicious’ bang. The colour is out and proud across the globe and we love it!! Whether it’s the colour for your next party outfit, or your seasonal overcoat, it’s here in everything. Why not go the whole look, word is the tackier the better! Pink = Fun, so perfect for the winter months.

TAKE IT TO THE KNEE…AND BEYOND

There’s been a noticeable lack of the knee high and beyond boot over the past few seasons. It’s been all about the ankle style- but it’s back baby! Before you go and invest in your winter footwear, don’t overlook the longer style. Yes, you’ll see the ankle boot for Winter 2017, but if looking to invest, the longer length is the style that will take you through seasons to come!
