‘You can’t start a fire without a spark’ -Bruce Springsteen
In the last few weeks so many amazing muso’s have announced they are coming to tour Australia. So far a bunch of friends and myself have invested in shows such as The Pixies, PJ Harvey, Crowded House, and the almighty ‘The Boss’ Bruce Springsteen. I’ve been lucky enough to see him multiple times, and on his most recent tour I must say personally it was one of the finest inspiring performances I’ve seen to date. He’s just turned 67 which in rock n roll years is god knows, and is still totally enjoying the high of what he does; it’s infectious for the soul.
At the moment when talking music & fashion, most style guides of what to wear only apply to a music festival. But what do you wear to a concert?? Is there a right or wrong way to dress? Personally I like to get into it and dress like I could perhaps be taking to the stage myself LOL. For ‘The Boss’ I have a classic vintage Bruce & The E Street band tee which I will definitely pull out for the show with my high waist jeans! If I add a bandana I’m sure I’ll look like Courtney Cox just stepped out of the music video for ‘Dancing In The Dark’!!
At we have styles for all music tribes, whether classic rock, contemporary pop, hip hop to dance are your beat. We’ve broken down a few looks on the site we think will have you looking ‘so fly’ at your next gig of choice!!
I’m channeling PJ Harvey when I think about this look! It will be January Sydney Festival time, so something a little rock, a little summer. Try this Equipment Femme snakeskin detail silk shirt, with this cool vintage Gucci Skirt, and these cool J Fahri snakeskin boots that will style the rock vibe perfectly!!
I know many a person going to Coldplay all over the country. Coldplay always put on a fun spectacular show , so wear something you can dance in!! My picks would be start with this Dries Van Noten basic singlet, team with these Sass & Bide cool cut jeans, and finish with these sparkle exquisite Duccio Del Duca sandals which are perfect to keep a spring in your step! Add this Madewell scarf for a bit more colour if you need it = outfit perfection!!

Hoping the reinvented badass Drake is touring Australia again soon?  Or what about TLC later in the year? This outfit idea should have you looking ‘fly’! No brainer Drake tour tee, teamed with a this fantastic LA Vintage leather pencil skirt, and these cool Adidas high tops, match made in music heaven!!

There are many many more amazing pieces to put together your own music inspired ensemble, and for one week we’re offering 10% off with the code MUSIC
