I love going out! Be it just for a quick catch up with a girlfriend, tripping around seeing clients who want to recycle their current threads or a night on the town with my man!

When I'm figuring out what the hell to choose to wear I love to look inside my wardrobe (if by miracle it's in some kind of order) and see if there’s anything I’ve forgotten that is living in there that could be resuscitated. When teamed with other current favourite staples, more often than not you can bring that dormant neglected garment front and centre to shine again!

At drinks and dinner with a close friend making a fleeting visit from LA this week, I styled up some high waisted Bassike denim dress pants with a vintage Moschino tee- one which I completely blanked on investing in, and a simple knot in front made the outfit sing!

This season if you go by what you’ve seen at all the international fashion shows & socials posts, your best bet is to invest in some statement pieces to shake up your current go-to styles. If you shop smart you’ll find you can create all sorts of looks without forking out bundles of cash to feel well armoured to get through all your planned socialising. The bonus- more cash in your pocket to spend at your destinations, and you’ll be saving the planet’s current state of landfill!
