THE NEW ADDITIONS ARE GLORIOUS!

Hey lovely peeps!

As you know, I’ve been back for a week now and am right back in the swing of life :)

But this recent holiday has been swirling around in my mind every second of every day. I’ve come home feeling SO INSPIRED by everything I did, everything I saw, the friends I visited, the new friends I made and all those wonderful moments in between.

The last stop on our trip was one of those true bucket-list places for me — COPENHAGEN!

And oh, did the city deliver.

From swimming in the harbour at La Banchina, to eating at Fiskebaren (thank you for those tips, Dua Lipa!), eating at the amazing food trucks in the Reffen area, to shopping all my favourite Danish brands like Samsøe Samsøe, Baum und Pferdgarten and, of course, GANNI at their flagship stores. Fashion heaven! I also had a hunt for some bargains at Vera’s market under Buen and found some stunning preloved pieces :) If you follow me on insta @aceyaceyeboutique I posted some snaps from this.

Then there was the art.

We jumped on a train and headed an hour out of Copenhagen to the incredible Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, which is honestly worth the trip for the location alone.

At the Louisiana there were two fabulous exhibitions — including a permanent installation by the late Yayoi Kusama, which felt particularly poignant as we visited the day after her passing.

Photographer Catherine Opie also had an incredible exhibition, ‘700 Nimes Road’, an intimate photographic portrait of the late Elizabeth Taylor’s home.

Ohhhh her shoes. Her jewels. Her bags. Her awards!!! All photographed so beautifully for us to behold. I’ve popped a few of my own snaps below so you can have a little peek.
