Hey lovely subscribers :)

Hope the past week has been an ace one!

Now that we’ve hit mid-September, I thought it was time to highlight some of the BEAUTIFUL frocks in-store now at aceyacey.com.au, perfect for the upcoming FROCK SEASON.

What is frock season, you ask??

Well, many of us have events towards the pointy end of the year that require a magical frock to carry us through the night. Whether it’s an upcoming formal, a wedding, a red carpet event, an awards ceremony or just a fabulous party that calls for something a little EXTRA — we have the frock for you!

Each year in November I generally attend the ARIA Awards with Simon. Back in the day I would be absolutely anxiety-ridden about my chosen attire! WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?!?!

These days, I care a lot less about my chosen look and a lot more about catching up with friends in the industry — many of whom I worked with in my previous life in music telly.

That said though... I STILL WANT TO LOOK GOOD!!

Before I go today, I wanted to acknowledge the extraordinary Gloria Steinem.

I’ve been so caught up writing about my Euro vacay that I didn’t mention her passing in last week’s edition. She was such an important voice for women, and her work and words helped change the lives of generations of us.

In her final interview, recorded privately in February 2025 with the understanding that it would only air after her death, she was given the opportunity at the end to speak directly to the camera.

Her message began simply:

“Please tell your own story.”

She went on to say that sharing our stories is one of the most important things we can do for each other — because through our stories, we get to truly know one another.

I just LOVE that.
