Well, what did you think of our Sex In The City girls Carrie, Miranda & Charlotte 20 year on?
Tonight we’re up to the 3rd instalment of the new SITC’s And Just Like That…!  I will admit that I did find the first episode a little busy… It was over-scripted with ‘woke’ teachings which at times reduced the ladies to a baffled trio trying to negotiate a strange new world, as if the only thing ageing has to offer us (or women at least) is confusion and failure.  In saying that, there is hope that we’ll see the freshness of the original start to shine thru now they’ve done the 20 year catch up. I mean this fab four were four individuals we aspired to be like in both personality and fashion. I cried when we said goodbye to two beloved characters, one in particular.
As far as the fashion goes, I loved it! It has every bit the high-fashion factor that we’d expect from the girls. It’s those over the top lavish outfits that do truly inspire us to dare to be different with our fashion choices. From Dries Van Noten, The Row, Alexander Wang and of course Manolo Blanik the styling by Patricia Field and team was spot on.
