‘There’s room for everyone on the ‘nice’ list’ Will Ferrell -Elf

Well it’s officially 10 days till Christmas!!

I’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit watching all my favourite Chrissy movies over the past week. Elf with the hilarious Will Ferrell- the stupid humour together with the equally stupid facial expressions only Mr Ferrell can do gets me laughing every time, classic National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase, and Love Actually which is always good to zone out to for a few hours!!

I find this time of year (as much as I love it) to be damn stressful!! So many places to go, people to see, presents to buy, hangover’s to nurse; it’s no wonder that Christmas is known as one of the most anxiety filled of all the holiday periods. It’s hard to carry that festive glow when you’re so overwhelmed all you actually want is to run and hide til New Years Eve!! A few years back we actually did run away for Christmas. The family spent two weeks in Byron Bay from when school finished, and all we had to worry about was which beach to go to or what cocktail to have next??

Deciding on your festive fashion outfits is probably one of the most frivolous yet fun sides to the season. Distracted with what to pack for your end of year escape, Christmas lunch attire, even New year’s eve as it will be upon us before you even think about packing up the Christmas tree! At least if everything else isn’t perfect as you'd planned, your ‘look’ can be!!
