I’ve never been one for group meditation, let alone looking like a clone for ZARA, but I have to admit that between my love of magazines & instagram I find it impossible to ignore what the world’s coolest fashionista’s are wearing & getting some styling tips from their own fashion takes. Not copying mind you, but perhaps thinking outside the box on a style I wouldn’t have considered before, let alone seen!! It’s like an inner conflict battling with my individual style!!
I know this is how the fashion influencer world is run- lead by wearable example, & I have to say I do love to be reminded of trends gone past that are being hash-tagged by the cool kids!! Mum jeans from the 80s have well & truly cemented their hipster status. Karl Lagafeld has resurrected the scrunchies in his last collection for FENDI (can you believe it!), even Khal Drogo come Aquaman, Jason Momoa is donning a one on his wrist for the Oscars in anticipation of pulling back his locks for the after party; not sure about that LOL!! And the trusty & sensible high neck skivvy is appearing in the most curious of styled ways across social media networks!!
To refresh your look the cheapest & easiest way in my mind is to pick a current style obsession and make it work for your own wardrobe! It totally freshens up your look and also creates new opportunities for items in your wardrobe that have been in hibernation!
