‘Making me into a role model is placing too much importance on what I see as a work in progress’.
It seems at the moment in Australia there is music going on everywhere. When you look around town some of the worlds hottest acts are touring, and local fav’s out and about playing shows. It’s so great to see so much demand for live acts, as music venues in Sydney anyway have become less and less and less…
I’m off to Laneway in Sydney this weekend and can’t wait to see acts like Chvrches, Smith Street Band, Violent Soho, most of the bill really!!
One lady I wish was on the lineup is English goddess of rock. PJ Harvey. She has a new album due to drop 15th April this year ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project’. I’ve been looking forward to her next release, and if her first song I’ve recently heard ‘The Wheel’ is anything to go by, the album is set to be another classic! Maybe the Splendour In The Grass Festival this year will help get her down under??!!
PJ Harvey’s style is timeless. She is the one who invented rock chic in my opinion. You never know what to anticipate with this rock ’n’ roll chameleon.
I’ve selected a few items currently available at aceyacey.com.au that will help you channel PJ Harvey’s style, and who knows, maybe even inspire you to get out and enjoy all the live music there is to offer in your pocket of the world.
PS: There’s still time to shop for your loved one or your date night outfit for Valentine’s Day!!!
