I have to confess that I have a major girl crush!!
After watching the 2019 Grammy’s earlier this week with the family over dinner, I could do nothing but swoon over one of the most talented muso’s on the planet -Alicia Keys! Yes the Grammys are a plethora of the world’s coolest people gathered together to celebrate their musical achievements, but Alicia’s star shone the brightest in my opinion! I mean how many people can play two baby grand piano’s simultaneously!!
I’ve always been a fan of this superwoman, and have been lucky enough in my previous career in music TV to travel to London to oversee an interview with this superstar at the Coronet Theatre & watch one of the finest performances I’ve seen to date!
Not only does her artistic prowess demonstrate why she has won 15 of those Grammys herself, but her style is eternal. The awards are always a fun fashion moment with such an eclectic mash of the industry present, but Alicia didn’t put a foot wrong from her strut down the red carpet, to her many wardrobe changes throughout the ceremony. From Balmain to Oscar De La Renta, to a vintage frock from David Webb, she owned the stage!!
