At aceyacey.com.au we love Fashion Week season! We get to travel the globe (not literally!) and see all the new designs, trends and controversies. Its the final stretch this week and this brings us to Paris! The city of lights, loves and of course fashion.
PFW tends to be the most extravagant of them all, with French heritage designers like Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Balmain showing. During previous seasons, designers have staged shows at historic sites like the Musée d’Orsay, Grand Palais, and the Louvre Museum. Naturally, this makes Paris a prestigious experience for the fashion set.
The fashion industry globally is increasingly moving towards a customer-centric approach, where the needs and preferences of the consumer are placed at the centre of the design process. Brands are recognizing that customers are looking for more than just trendy clothes, they are looking for clothing that aligns with their values, their personal style, and their individual tastes.
This year's Fall/ Winter 2023 event so far is FABULOUS with inspiring outfits strutting down the catwalks. So far we’ve seen a-listers like Charlize Theron & Elle McPherson attending legacy fashion house Dior’s show which took place inside Paris’ Tuileries gardens. The inspo for their latest range channeled a vintage 1950s vibe. Zoe Kravitz, Salma Hayek & Olivia Wilde were among the attendees at Saint Laurent which showcased its usual elegant cutting edge style with designer Anthony Vaccarello reimagining the classic Saint Laurent uniform with exaggerated shoulders that nodded to the ’80s . MeanwhileDries Van Noten & Acne Studios pushed the boundaries with their colour palettes and cuts. My fav designer Isabel Marant is showing Thursday night Paris time and I can’t wait to see what she has planned for next season!
