I finally got to see some live music!!!

Yes foot in a boot and all I was lucky enough to limp down to Mary’s Underground in Sydney to FINALLY see some live music!! My other half Simon is working with a cool act that was putting on a few intimate shows under strict covid guidelines and it was a blast! As you’d expect the whole process of getting into a venue was a very different experience, no bar service plus no standing etc does get a bit blah..but if this is the new norm for the foreseeable future then I’ll embrace it! Its been a super tough year for the arts sector and it was great to finally see maybe there is a shining light at the end of the long tunnel that has been 2020!

Of course this meant I was finally able to dust off one of the fabulous items I’ve acquired during lockdown online shopping from aceyacey.com.au, and it was amazing for the soul to finally get out amongst it dressed for purpose like this. If I have been going out anywhere at the moment- shopping, dentist, doctors, school pick up I’ve been wearing my usual going-out gear! I may be looking a little over the top at times, but I find feeling good boosts me up, a mood enhancing phenomenon I am sure helps many of you out there!!

Looking at the style around the room it was eclectic and fabulous. Everyone obviously was as thrilled as I was to be out dressed up with the live music blaring!
