Its back baby!

After 18 months fashion industry pros, influencers, and celebrities from all over the world have come together for NYFW to celebrate and explore Spring/Summer 2022 collections. After two virtual seasons due to the stupid pandemic it has been ace to see celebrity front rows back in full swing and all the stylish attendees strutting their stuff on the NYC pavements.

The bonus for us here in OZ is we can wear these trends now in our Springtime climate, and with lockdowns promising to lift as long as we keep getting vaxxed, there has never been a more deserving time to shop for something new!!!

I’ve rounded up a few fresh looks from the week that I’ve adored below. A beautiful etherial yellow frock from Proenza Schouler, this stunning outfit from Ulla Johnson, a white suit with a twist from Jonathan Simkhai & a cool street savvy look from veteran label Coach.

A few trends that were spotted throughout the week you ask? Well the whole GANNI inspired puff sleeve silhouette looks like its here to stay for a while longer which is a big thumbs up from me. Check out the stunning red exaggerated sleeve frock from Carolina Herrera. Phillip Lim was at the forefront of the pink & eggshell palette combo that I think we will be seeing a lot of, and there was plenty of new age suiting and whimsical evening dresses which I interpreted as the end of lockdown casual & fashions return to office & parties. Loving these pieces from Prabal Gurung & again from Proenza Schouler.
