NEW PIECES TO OBSESS OVER :)
Posted on
Ok so I have a confession to make…
After banging on and on about how much I love ‘And Just Like That’ & that I didn’t care what the new season storyline was like…well I was WRONG. The new season really does suck.
We’re now up to episode 9 in season 3 and I have to say the storylines and fashion really are just not up to scratch. Why!! Well here’s just a few thoughts on the story alone that I think makes the season so far just look lazy!!
Firstly, I have to start with Lisa’s dad’s funeral. This was the entire episode a few weeks back, but fans all over the world have quickly pointed out that he had already died, come back from the dead and was then killed off again, all taking place across three seasons!! Lisa discussed the grief of losing her farther in Season 1, then he attended a party of hers in Season 2, and now dead again in Season 3. Surely the amount of money that goes into making a show like this the writers could actually get story continuity right!!
Next, what is wrong with Carrie?? She seems off. The way she went on about the glass in the window being smashed- I mean come on!! Also, her wardrobe choices are not fab. Shopping at the thrift store in Virginia only came up with Amish style fashion choices that are a far cry from her fashion forward New York self. She seems out of sorts, flat and uninspired. I think the best part of the season was Carrie’s hot gardener doing his karaoke number!!
Come on production team, if you are renewed for a fourth season you have to get it right! It hasn’t been a fun relaxing ride to watch so far. It’s agitating & annoying that it’s so lazy in its plot!! I could go on and on and on but I’m sure you are all feeling the same way as I am. It doesn’t feel fresh and edgy like the original, this feels like it is trying to hard and definitely not landing; I give this an aceyacey.com.au razzie.
OK now on to fun things! NEW ADDITIONS in store at aceyacey.com.au! Every piece carries a story—places they’ve been, people who’ve loved them & fits that I have obsessed over. Keep scrolling for my fav’s.
