NEW ADDITIONS PERFECT FOR A TRAVEL CAPSULE!!

The end of year countdown is getting very real!!
As we approach the closing months of 2025 are you all starting to plan your end of year getaway?? The Moor household will yet again be travelling across to South Carolina. Jed will be home for two weeks at Christmas, then with games starting back in America early Jan, we’ve decided to fly back with him and watch him in action on the court for a few weeks. Yes we are forgoing a big chunk of summer in Sydney & pulling out our puffer jackets yet again - but will be worth it!
Which brings me to the daunting task of packing for a trip! How do you consolidate a fabulous wardrobe into a tiny suitcase?? I know I want to look good and that tends to make me overpack, and when you are lugging that case around especially if you have multiple stops it really can take the fun out of the transit.
Well the New York Times recently published an article claiming that really its all up to the maths to get the capsule wardrobe right. How few garments can you mix and match to equal X, X being the greatest number of combinations? There were a couple of thoughts to the equation:
The 3-3-3 ratio: Three tops, plus three bottoms plus three pairs of shoes..
Or the more complex formula 5-4-3-2-1: five tops, plus four bottoms, plus three pairs of shoes, plus two layering pieces, plus one of anything else that will make you happy.
See its the math :)
I'm not sure if I’ll be able to stick to any of these ratios, but I will give it a try! Anyway on to more exciting musings- this week’s new additions!! At aceyacey.com.au this week there are plenty of stunning designer pieces perfect for our upcoming packing challenge. Keep scrolling for a snippet of my favs!
Start planning your future holiday :)
