NEW & PRE-LOVED DESIGNER & VINTAGE CLOTHING

IS YOUR WARDROBE STUCK IN THE PAST? WE CAN HELP :)

Posted on

Hey guys! Hope you’re having an amazing week :)

Before I start this week’s shopping download of thoughts, I want to pay my respects to those fallen, and the survivors and first responders of 9/11. I still remember watching that terrible day unfold on TV here in Australia and with New York being one of my favourite places and with so many friends there at the time I always find myself thinking back to that day and the indelible change it left on not only New York but the world.

Now onto more lighthearted matters at hand!  As it’s September it’s now the perfect time for a seasonal reset. The change of season is a magical time. We’ve had the heat cranking in Australia, now its time to set those air-conditioners to cool. We get longer daylight hours, a return to the beach and evening BBQ’s. It’s also time for the tradition of the spring clean. Put away things from the season just gone, and resurrect all your fav items that mean Spring to you in not only the home but in your wardrobe.

As you tackle the new season wardrobe, are you thinking your wardrobe might be a little stuck in the past? Maybe you need to have a bigger refresh than just adding one or two pieces? Maybe it’s time to do a cull? If you’re thinking of selling some designer pieces, make sure you reach out at our CONTACT US page.

This week discover some amazing new pieces just uploaded to aceyacey.com.au. There’s everything to suit whatever season you are shopping for! Reformation frocks, Acne Studios jumpers, Theory pieces perfect for the Spring office and so much more!

And to end this week I’d like to sale vale to Giorgio Armani. When “Sex and the City” lead Carrie Bradshaw sees Mr. Big step out of a Presbyterian church in Manhattan, she notes with particular reverence that he was “wearing Armani on Sunday.” The designer’s legacy has always been enmeshed in tailoring. In the 1980s, Armani offered a softer alternative to the hard-cornered, hyper-masculine power suits so popular in the decade. Then in the 1990s he streamlined the puffed-out silhouette altogether — designing slouchy yet sophisticated pieces in linens and silks still emulated on runways and red carpets today.

At aceyacey.com.au we have  few VTG Armani pieces left in store. Snap up a piece of design history to treasure for years to come.
