HOORAY, ITS ALMOST MOTHERS DAY!!

One of my fav days of the year, and not just because I am a mother of two wonderful children and will HOPEFULLY get showered with gifts (not likely) but also because it is a nice time to reflect on my mother and the trials and tribulations of motherhood in that generation, and wow haven’t things changed for the better for the most part.
It’s been one hell of a trip around the sun to reach this day again in 2021. Whether a made-up holiday or beloved tradition, a calendar day dedicated to showing love to some of the most deserving among us is simply ace!
Having lost my mother some two years back now, I find this also a time to reconnect with my siblings and share a few thoughts of growing up and marvelling at where we are now all those years later.
