FASHION TRENDS FOR THE NEW SEASON

Greetings from Copenhagen!
Not to brag... but I have just wandered through the flagship GANNI store, and Samsøe Samsøe is next on the agenda!
I keep having pinch me moments as I walk (and bike!) around this incredible city. Visiting Copenhagen has been on my bucket list for years, and I'm really trying to soak up every single moment rather than rushing from one beautiful place to the next.

Being in one of the world's most stylish cities has me completely inspired, so I thought I'd share a few of the trends that are everywhere here and that we'll soon be seeing in Australia. Can you believe Spring is only DAYS away?
SATIN
If there's one fabric that's having a moment, it's satin. Luxe, elegant and surprisingly versatile, I'm seeing it styled in every possible way—from camisoles and bias-cut skirts to relaxed pants and beautiful handbags. It instantly elevates an outfit and is one of the easiest trends to wear.
PURPLE
We've had our love affair with butter yellow, but this season it's all about purple. From soft lilacs through to rich royal shades, this colour has been impossible to miss. I've spotted gorgeous bags, shoes, dresses and knitwear everywhere. Whether you go bold or simply add a pop of colour with an accessory, purple is definitely the shade to embrace this season.
ANIMAL PRINT
Animal print never really disappears, but this season it feels fresh again. Think classic leopard, modern snakeskin and subtle animal-inspired textures appearing on everything from coats and jackets to shoes, handbags and dresses. It's a timeless trend with a contemporary twist.
A TOUCH OF OPULENCE
While quiet luxury will always have its place, fashion is definitely leaning back towards a little glamour. Rich textures, beautiful embroidery, velvet, silk, fringe, brocade and statement accessories are making a return. It's elegant, a little decadent, and just plain fun.
