I have been lucky enough to travel across Europe a few weeks back with my family and visit some amazing places!
On my traveIs I was kept sane reading Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth’s fantastic memoir ‘Girl In A Band’. I could totally relate to the challenges she speaks about travelling with kids. Love them, but tough moments!!
Kim was a massive style icon for me growing up. I found it so surprising reading her memoir how little confidence she really had in her appearance, lines like ‘I felt confused about how iI should ‘look’, and felt frumpy and nerdy a lot of the time’…..HELL NO, she is amazing!! From her music to art to fashion label X-Girl, she does it all!!
Inspired to get out and find some amazing one off items for aceyacey.com.au, one of the places we stopped at was Lisbon Portugal. I found some exquisite 2nd hand vintage stores like this one’Joker Vintage store’, the owner Bruno was lovely, and I’ve some fantastic pieces on the site for you to grab including this vintage black ruffle dress!
